Pattaya

Pattaya is a popular tourist resort town well-known all over the world. It is located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, 160 kilometres south-east of Bangkok, in the province of Chonburi in the so-called Industrial Zone of the east coast of Thailand. Pronunciation of names: the name of the city is also pronounced as Pattaya, Phatthaya, Pattaia, Pataia with a stress both on the second syllable and on the last letter.
